Telluride Waterfall Elopement
There are few places in America as stunning as Telluride. A quaint little town, that is nestled right in between stunning mountain cliffs that rise straight up into the sky. There are so many gorgeous trails, lakes, and yes, waterfalls. Some are a little bit tucked away and hidden, like the one that Kenzie and Derek went to for their elopement.
The day began with Kenzie and Derek getting ready in their hotel room at Hotel Columbia. They got ready separately, building that anticipation for their first look. Once they were both ready we went down to the river where they both cried once they saw each other. It wasn’t just the river getting wet ;).
After that we were off to our secret waterfall for their ceremony. With the waterfall gently flowing behind Kenzie and Derek, they said their vows to each other and then, with some beautiful words, a fun ring exchange, they were married! It was official! They played a little bit in the water and then we were off to our next location.
For the third location we wanted to get the towering mountains of Telluride behind them. Besides a gentle stream the two played together before heading off into town. Standing right in the center, they shared cake that Kenzie’s sister made, laughing and cheering as passerbys congratulated them.
It was a fantastic, wonderful experience and Kenzie and Derek were over the moon.
