Randi and Dean’s Elopement
Randi and Dean’s Story
Randi and Dean knew from the beginning they wanted to elope in the mountains. They LOVE the mountains and wanted to do something really adventurous involving their jeep. We planned a really fun and awesome day in one of the most gorgeous locations in Colorado – the San Juan mountains.
Then, we got thrown a massive curveball. A few weeks before their elopement Dean tore his achilles heal. Since he couldn’t walk much and definitely couldn’t hike, we had to pivot. I always have backup plans so we were all set and ready to go!
We rearranged our itinerary to include locations that were gorgeous and involved very little hiking. Their parents joined in at the very end to celebrate them. Their day was simply magical and exactly what they were looking for!
THE ADVENTURE
Randi and Dean wanted an adventurous day in the mountains, and needed something accessible due to a recent injury.
they had a vision of:
WHAT THEY SAID
Adam was absolutely incredible! Going into this process we had always known that we were going to elope. Since we did not plan on having a lot of people at our wedding, we knew that we needed amazing pictures to share our day with everyone. We spent weeks looking for an elopement photographer in Colorado and decided to message three photographers. As soon as we had our Zoom meeting with Adam we knew. His bright personality, eagerness, and ideas for our perfect day made us immediately at ease.
His bright personality, eagerness, and ideas for our perfect day made us immediately at ease. As the bride, I was most nervous about forgetting to schedule something, but Adam had created a checklist of all the things that needed to be done. He not only took our pictures, but he played a big role in planning our day and his support through that helped to take major stress off of us. He made himself completely available to us and was easy to get a hold of to talk about all the details of the day after booking with him.
The day before our elopement, Adam went to scope out the location we chose and found that there was still a lot of snow, the lake was still frozen, and there was still snow on the road meaning that we would have to hike. Since my husband had recently had surgery that was not going to work for us. He scheduled a time to meet with us to talk about alternatives. Despite the last-minute changes, that day was absolutely perfect. His photos were amazing and exactly what we dreamed about. It’s hard to put into words how grateful we are for all of his hard work, flexibility, and planning he did for our day!
