Scenic Mountain Elopement FAQ

Yep! Unless other factors get in the way, I am down to officiate for you!

Big time! 0 judgment here. I want you two to do what you love and have a good time, if that’s part of it, I’m all for it!

Absolutely not! Adventure eloping can look like a ton of different things. If you don’t want to hike, we’ll find another way to celebrate your day.

I try to keep it under 16 people but am happy to make exceptions under the right circumstances.

This depends on what you want to do during your elopement. But we can discuss details on your consultation call. Here’s what I tell most people: 4 hours is the absolute minimum amount of coverage I’d suggest if you want a really great experience. However, if you want to include activities or guests, or you simply want a more full day, you’ll obviously need to book more coverage. My Colorado Elopement Guide offers a more detailed breakdown of how long things take and can give you a better sense of what you might need.

We still have a great time! During the planning process, we create a few backup plans so that if the weather becomes an issue, we know exactly what we’ll do instead. But tbh, the weather has yet to ruin a wedding, and we won’t let yours be the first.

My focus is on quality over quantity—so I don’t set a specific number of photos. However, I do average about 50 photos per daylight hour.

If you want your fur-baby present, we’ll find a place that works for you (some locations have special rules about animals). P.S.: In Colorado, your dog can legally witness your license!
